Looking for a small dev team - Mobile Falcon Racing Card Game (playable prototype created)

| Published May 29, 2026 Godot GODOT

What am I building exactly? An online card game based on falconry, developed in Godot. I currently have a semi-playable prototype on itch.io. Here's a YouTube mini-gameplay clip (the quality is low, but the game looks good on mobile devices): https://www.youtube.com/shorts/d3Qi4M3j0fg **What do I need and who am I looking for?** Before going further: I can't offer upfront payment, so the model would be revenue share — if the game generates income, it will be split according to percentages agreed upon by everyone who contributed. I know it's not for everyone, and that's completely fair, but I wanted to be transparent about it before you read on. What I need is to improve the prototype, especially on the visual and audio side. Right now it's a strange mix of 90s-looking graphics and AI-generated images and sprites used as placeholders, and the same goes for the music. So I'm looking for: * 🎨 **Artist / Graphic Designer:** Someone who can give the game its own visual identity and a personal touch. * 🎵 **Sound Designer / Musician:** Sound and music are practically a black hole right now. I want the atmosphere to match the concept. * 🖥️ **Developer (?):** Not strictly necessary, but if someone is interested in the concept and wants to collaborate, they're welcome. * If you think another role is needed and you'd like to be part of this, you're welcome too. **Why do I think this could work?** It's a very specific niche: falconry. And precisely because of that, nothing like it exists. There are a lot of passionate fans, with a particularly strong community in the UAE and followers all around the world. I've talked to a couple of people in England who already wanted to try it. If it works, there's no competition. If it doesn't... at least we'll have created something unique. Obviously, I'm not trying to make the best game in the world — though we'd all love that — but I think it could make a small impact. Do you agree? **In case you're curious about the game:** You build a team of 4 falcons and a deck of 8 skill cards. Each match is divided into 4 rounds (races) where each falcon faces off in individual duels. The key is playing cards at the right moment to shift the course of the game: speed boosts, attacks, defenses, stamina swaps, falcon switches... it has more depth than it might seem at first glance. Right now there's only a CPU mode, but the plan is to make it online. I have 72 skills designed (still needing tweaks, obviously), and in terms of scalability: raptors, hybrids, new game modes... there's a lot of room to grow. **About me and the project** I'm Spanish, a mathematician with 7+ years of programming experience in Python and ABAP, though this is my first game (Godot). The prototype is semi-playable, but there's clearly still a lot to do. Being honest: this is a hobby, I have a full-time job and the development pace reflects that. But if there's genuine interest and a good team, I'd definitely put in more hours. This is not a closed concept. The foundation is there, but I'm the first to want to improve it if someone has the vision to make it more compelling. If you're interested, send me a direct message. I can share the demo so you can see where things stand.
