[Hobby] Sci-Fi Action RPG Prototype – Looking for Artists / Visual Collaborators
Hey everyone.
We’re building a small hobby prototype for a third-person sci-fi action game with psychological thriller atmosphere and biomechanical suit combat.
The project focuses on the contrast between:
ordinary daily life
and sudden high-intensity combat encounters
--Core Idea--
A college student becomes bonded to an adaptive alien biomechanical suit after encountering a strange object during a nature excursion.
As the story progresses, he struggles to maintain normal life while fighting hostile entities that may only be visible to him.
Tone is closer to:
psychological sci-fi thriller
existential tension
grounded character drama
rather than superhero stuff
Visual / Gameplay Direction:-
sleek biomechanical armor
adaptive smart-fiber suit transformations
glowing suit joints as diagetic combat indicators
modular weapon forms (blade / ranged / hook concepts)
fast-paced third-person combat
atmospheric environments
Current Prototype Focus
Keeping scope intentionally small:
movement
combat feel
basic enemy encounters
suit visuals / transformations
atmosphere
Looking For Hobby/beginner-friendly collaborators interested in:
3D modeling
texturing
biomechanical/sci-fi concepts
environment art
visual experimentation
--Important---
low-pressure hobby project
non-commercial currently
exploratory prototype phase
small scope first
If the concept sounds interesting, feel free to message.
